Omar Serpas
Born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador, Omar graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Francisco Gavidia University and is currently pursuing a Technical Degree in Cybersecurity. Since 2016, he has gained extensive experience in customer service and administrative support, equipping him with strong skills in assisting and guiding people through various processes.
In 2022, he shifted his professional focus and began working with U.S.-based law firms, primarily in the field of employment law. In January 2025, he joined Owings MacNorlin, where he serves as an Intake Specialist in immigration law. This transition has allowed him to discover a deep passion for supporting immigrants in their efforts to obtain legal status in the United States.
His academic background, combined with his professional and personal experiences, has given him a compassionate and understanding perspective toward those going through the immigration process. Omar enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and helping them achieve greater stability and peace of mind.
Estela Valero
Estela was born and raised in Colombia, where she currently resides. She earned an Associate Degree in English with an emphasis in Translation from the Instituto Electrónico de Idiomas. Early in her career, she worked as a translator and, in 2008, became independent by founding her own translation and international procedures agency. Since then, she has also worked as a freelance translator, collaborating on projects that have allowed her to assist many people in pursuing new opportunities abroad.
Her close contact with migration experiences sparked a deep interest in immigration law. This field has enabled her to connect her academic background and professional career with her desire to serve and support those facing the challenges of settling in a new country. Estela finds great fulfillment in helping individuals and families build a dignified and free life in the United States, regardless of their race or background.
In August 2023, Estela joined Owings MacNorlin as a legal assistant, where she collaborates in preparing forms, gathering documents, and maintaining direct communication with clients.
